Heather, a digital nomad currently residing in Nosara, Costa Rica, holds a Master of Arts in Socio-Legal Studies from York University. She completed her undergraduate degree in Honours Specialization in Media Information and Technoculture (MIT) from the University of Western Ontario in 2021. Heather’s research primarily focuses on environmental racism, legal pluralism, and media theory. In her professional life, Heather has spent the last year and a half working at an EDI-focused law firm.
Beyond academia and work, Heather has always had a deep passion for creativity and movement. Formerly a competitive dancer and teacher, she now finds fulfillment in practices like yoga and ecstatic dance.
Heather actively engages with her community and dedicates her time to volunteering at a local yoga studio in Nosara on a weekly basis. She aims to inspire others to foster connections and delve into alternative approaches to wellness and spirituality. Heather is thrilled to be joining the Adzenture team.
