Mikayla has a strong and unique passion for the intersection of wellness, movement, and community. She believes deeply that connecting breath to movement drives liberation and provides a unique opportunity for collective healing. As a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, 200-hour Yoga Teacher, and Nike LA Trainer, she sees herself as both a student and teacher who empowers others to use movement as a tool for developing self-awareness and navigating adversity with confidence and clarity.

Mikayla’s training style includes multiple modalities including high intensity interval training, yoga, strength and resistance training, and mindfulness—all of which encourage students to explore themselves with curiosity. She is particularly drawn to yoga for its ability to unveil that the body can go well beyond where the mind believes. Mikayla’s 20+ years of experience as an athlete established her sense of self, but yoga proved that her body’s strength is beyond limitation.
