Join us on this 6 night, 7 day Goddess retreat with Steph Rae to explore the notion of rebirth, in none other than the island of Gods – Bali, Indonesia. In life, there isn’t only a physical death we experience. Humans, as we are nature, can experience a multitude of deaths in one lifetime. Death of ego, death of former self, death of relationships, of old ways, ideas, habits and thinking. And so, we also get to experience rebirth. In Bali, the Hindus believe in reincarnation – in life after death, in every way – in not only the spirits being reincarnated in forms of other family members but the locals here frequently observe water cleansing ceremonies to symbolize rebirth and renewal, a ceremony that we’ll practice on this retreat.
Home to our co-founder Azma Ousmand, this Bali retreat is also curated to give you an insider’s experience. We’ll indulge in fresh, healthy and delicious foods that Bali is renowned for and partake in a cooking class to learn how to make some of its traditional dishes. There’ll be plenty of time to rest, explore waterfalls and beautiful beaches, shop in local markets, visit some of the most beautiful temples, and experience its local culture. Allow Mama Bali to nourish your mind, body and soul!
Cacao Ceremony: Ecstatic Love – In this heart opening journey we’ll ingest this medicine from the earth to release negative energies, connect to ourselves, and open our hearts to renewed life.
The Ascension: This journey will take us through the cycle of death, rebirth and awakening to the truth of who we are, what we are meant to do in this lifetime and bring a sense of wholeness to our heart and soul. (Optioi to use a Yoni Egg)
Welcome to the island of the Gods! We’ll gather for an opening circle to connect with each other and our bodies followed by a delicious and nourishing dinner.
After our morning breathwork and a nourishing breakfast, we’ll have an opportunity to visit the Ubud market for shopping, visit the famous Monkey Forest temple and Saraswati Temple and have lunch in town!
Later that afternoon, we’ll get to experience a traditional cooking class! The Chef will explain Balinese tastes and customs, local meat, fish, and produce, finding unique ingredients and, of course, Balinese-style bargaining as we tour a traditional outdoor market to gain insight into how Balinese people approach cooking and how many spend their day. The Chef and his assistant will demonstrate how to cook all of the local dishes that we’ll indulge in for dinner. We’ll return back to our retreat centre to end our night with an activity to connect to each other.
We’ll start our day with a morning movement practice to prepare our mind, body and spirit for a cleansing through a traditional water purification ceremony at a holy water temple, a local practice observed by the Balinese. After our cleanse, we’ll have time to rest and reflect on our experience with journal prompts, indulge in a Balinese massage, relax by the pool, read a new book and take time to rejuvenate. We’ll meet this evening for a workshop with Steph before dinner.
On this day, you’ll have time to choose rest, or choose adventure, whether a sunrise trek up Mount Batur volcano, exploring waterfalls or going on a white water rafting adventure along Ayung River. We’ll come back this afternoon for a beautiful sound healing experience before dinner at our retreat center.
This morning, we’ll be guided through a breathwork class with Steph. After breakfast, we’ll head out for a beach day.
After breakfast we’ll gather for a final workshop with Steph. Then the afternoon is yours to indulge in more spa time or shopping! This evening, we’ll come together for a beautiful tea ceremony and then have a final dinner together.
We’ll have our last morning breathwork practice and a closing circle to reflect on the beautiful week spent together. Then after breakfast, it’ll be time to say Sampai Jumpa lagi! (See you again in Balinese)
Ubud is a very unique place and is centrally located which makes it a great base to explore Bali and the surrounding areas. Ubud village is rich in culture and has beautiful traditional arts, statues, temples and gardens. There is so much to do and explore in Ubud and the vibe here is like no other!
A $500 USD non-refundable initial deposit will secure your spot on the retreat or you may choose to pay in full.

To enter Bali, proof of vaccination is required (2 doses at least 15 days before arrival) or a certified medical exemption.
ALL travellers are responsible for checking covid entry requirements as per the country they are returning to. If covid tests are required, please advise so our Retreat hosts can make arrangements accordingly.
