The rest of the time we explore the energy of the bustling city of Cairo, its pyramids and bazaars (great for shoppers), before flying to Luxor to set sail on a 4 day cruise down the Nile. We will make stops at select ports along the way, where we will enjoy great food, great company and end with a cultural presentation by a local Nubian village.

Egypt, a country linking northeast Africa with the Middle East, dates to the time of the pharaohs. Millennia-old monuments sit along the fertile Nile River Valley, including Giza’s colossal Pyramids and Great Sphinx as well as Luxor’s hieroglyph-lined Karnak Temple and Valley of the Kings tombs. The capital, Cairo, is home to Ottoman landmarks like Muhammad Ali Mosque and the Egyptian Museum, a trove of antiquities.

The remaining balance will be split into instalment payments with the total amount due 60 days prior to the retreat start date.
