Expand your hip mobility with this grounding functional workshop. We will create space and loosen up tight hips. The goal of this class is to create freedom of movement to help counteract the effects of our sitting-focused lifestyle. We will work on variations of lotus. A new playlist is ready for this class!
An empowering Arm Balances and Inversions workshop where we will learn the foundations of crow pose and forearm stand in a fun, unique and empowering way. A special class designed to find the courage to face your fears, deepen the connection to your core, flip your perspective and find self confidence in your yoga practice!
This class will help prepare you for a safe and sustainable backbend practice. You’ll work into your hips, shoulders, and spine to help open up your front body and bring new awareness into each space. We’ll warm up the body with functional movement and pilates inspired drills followed by an intelligent sequence designed to open the body to be able to backbend. We’ll end with a posture clinic: wheel pose and bow pose, followed by a cool down + guided meditation and sound bath.
Work on opening the back chain of the body focusing on hamstrings and the lower back. We will also open the chest area to release tension from the neck and shoulders. After a warm up, flow and drills, we will close the class with an Acro Yoga play shop.
