Tune into the energy of the moon, the feminine side of the yoga practice, following the movements of Chandra Namaskar. This practice enables us to slow down, calm our nervous system, and go within to align with our inner nature and energy. Journaling and meditation will facilitate this practice.
Inspired by this hip and heart opening pose, we’ll move through a strong flow with options for several hip and heart openers, fully opening the body to prepare us for an assortment of poses that connect us to our own power. This workshop will allow time for questions, asana tune ups, and breakdowns of poses that aren’t always included in a standard flow.
Heradsskolinn is a charming guesthouse located in a historical old school building at Laugarvatn Lake. Located right in the heart of the Golden Circle, surrounded by rolling hills with with Thingvellir National Park, Gullfoss waterfall and Geyser close by. Laugarvatn is known for great visibility for northern lights in the wintertime and absolutely amazing nature sites. 60 minutes from Reykjavik capital and 90 minutes from Keflavik International Airport, the town is an intersection of natural beauty and historical importance.
